This official Pennsylvania Game Commission application is GPS enabled and designed for both offline and online use, providing outdoor enthusiasts with easy access to all of Pennsylvania's State Game Lands. The app has built-in mapping capabilities allowing you to browse State Game Land (SGL) boundaries, parking areas and shooting ranges displayed over your choice of USGS 7.5 minute topographic maps, satellite imagery or road maps. No cellular service where you’re headed? Cache maps on your device, turn on the "Current Location" display and use your device as a handheld GPS to venture into the wilds offline. A simple menu allows you to search for State Game Lands by number, WMU or proximity. You can also search for shooting ranges, game check stations and much more. Destinations closest to you will be listed first in search results. Find destination-specific information including WMU, county, acreage, hunting zones, hunting hours, hunting seasons, bag limits and more on each destination’s Details Page. Touch “GO†from any Details Page and get turn-by-turn driving directions to parking lots, shooting ranges, check stations or Game Commission offices. We’re saving you time so you can spend more in the field. Looking for SGLs beyond your current location? Enter any Pennsylvania city into the search criteria and start planning your next adventure. Save your favorites for future use. Use the "Report Your Harvest" feature to report by phone or connect to PALS. You’ll also find turn-by-turn directions to game check stations. The "Find Game Commission Facilities" feature provides turn-by-turn directions and contact information to PGC offices and facilities. Report game violations immediately and to the right office with the "Turn in a Poacher" feature. Connect to the PGC's new mobile website from within the app. You'll always have the latest updates no matter where you are. Make the most of your next hunting outing with PA State Game Lands! NOTE: The PA State Game Lands app will function on devices without a GPS receiver however a GPS is required for accurate point-to-point navigation and for use as a handheld GPS in the field. GPS add-on units are available from third party manufacturers to enable GPS for devices that do not include a GPS receiver. For offline use where no Internet connection is available, USGS maps must be downloaded while still on-line and connected. Any USGS maps downloaded online will be available for offline use.
